WHAT IS CULTURED THERAPY?
Cultured Therapy came to be during the Pandemic. The world was chaotic, life challenges worsened for many people, and prioritizing mental health was much needed. In the midst of this, racial injustices were continuing to be shown in the media worldwide. More people were in need of an outlet to feel heard, to be respected, and helped. Speaking about mental health was welcomed and teletherapy was helping counselors and clients connect. What was needed as well was for the minority communities to connect with minority counselors. Cultured Therapy wants to help people find people with commonalities and similar life experiences. In doing so, being able to educate people about various topics and the correlated effects on different communities.
